Barcelona Sights, Sounds and Hotels
The Parc Guell in Barcelona was originally designed by Gaudi and intended as a real-estate venture for the well-known and wealthy Catalan industrialist Count Eusebi. Unfortunately it was never completed and only two dwellings of the planned 60 were constructed, one of which is the Casa Museu Gaudi, and which contains memorabilia of the architect. In 1926 Barcelona city took over the property and converted it to a public park.
Barcelona's Parc Guell is an example of the extraordinary craftmanship that you will appreciate all over Barcelona city. The great selection of quality Barcelona hotels will make picking your favourite one rather tricky.
