Budapest Sights, Sounds and Hotels

St Stephen’s Basilica is Budapest’s largest church, seating 8,500 worshippers, and was consecrated in 1905. The basilica was dedicated to the king, St Stephen, who was the founder of the Hungarian State and Christian Church in Hungary. Construction of the Basilica began in 1848 but the War of Independence interrupted the building, and was only resumed in 1851, to be completed 60 years later. The magnificent cupola of the basilica offers views of Budapest from its 360-degree circular lookout, 65 metres high.

With all the wonderful Budapest sights that will enlighten you and keep you entertained during your trip to Budapest city, you will need to make sure that your comfort is assured in one of the splendid Budapest hotels.
